My stay at Apa Hotel Sugamo Ekimae had its ups and downs. The location was fantastic, close to Sugamo station and various local eateries, making it easy to get around Tokyo. However, the rooms were quite small, which might be a concern for some. The rooftop onsen was a good bonus after long days of exploring, though the check-in process could be tricky for non-Japanese speakers.
